KOHIMA, Feb 10: Exuding confidence that political parties will support an “honourable solution” to the decades-old separatist movement in galand, Chief Minister T.R. Zeliang on Tuesday said a new dawn was breaking for the gas.

“I am confident that most of the political parties would extend support for a solution that is honourable to gas because peace talks were initiated during the UPA rule and the present NDA leadership is determined to solve the issue at the earliest,” he said.

Zeliang was addressing the consultative meet of ga People’s Front Peren Division at Jalukie.

The chief minister also revealed how the ga Mothers Association along with many of its associates are closely working with the State and Central governments to bring a permanent peaceful solution to the ga problem. (IANS)
