New Delhi: Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh assures to resolve long-pending Bodoland issue

New Delhi: Following the Tripartite Talk with ABSU, PJACBM & Government of India(GOI), Government of Assam(GOA) at North Block, MHA, New Delhi at 4.30 pm, the Union Home Minister of India, Rajnath Singh had assured to resolve the long-pending Bodoland issue in order to bring sustainable and permanent peace in the region.

He also assured to call back the movement group in the month of December for another Tripartite talk after having a discussion inside the government level.

Further, they discussed thoroughly regarding protection of tribal land rights, culture and identity and assured to take all necessary measure.

Meanwhile, in this tripartite talk the delegates representing from the movement groups were Present from ABSU were Pramod Boro (President), Dipen Boro (Vice-President), Romeo Narzary, Khungkhra Swargiary, Kwrwmdao Wary & Saranjay Brahma from PJACBM.

Also, Rakesh Boro, Garjan Mashahary two former MPs U. G. Brahma and S. K. Bwisumuthiary, Bhraman Baglary, Rwngwra Narzary MCLA, BTC and from GOI, Rajnath Singh, HM, Rajiv Gauba, HS, Director IB, Satyendra Garg, JS, NE and from Assam government, Kumar Sanjay Krishna, Adl. CS, Pallab Bhattacharyya, DGP, Spl. Br. LS Changsan, pl. Secy, Hiren Nath, IGP were present in the meeting.
