New organization for Mongoloid people on cards

KOKRAJHAR, Oct 3: In a fresh twist, a new platform for the Mongoloid origin people is going to be formed at the initiative of Prithviraj rayan Dev Mech, the president of the Royal Union of Koch Mech (RUKM) with an aim to unite all the Mongoloid origin people.

In a press statement, the president of the RUKM Prithviraj rayan Dev Mech said Indo-Mongoloid race was one of the greatest homogenous mixtures of various tribals, especially in the north-eastern region of India. Since many decades the greater Indo-Mongoloid communities were divided and ruled as well as a situation of rivalry with each other communities had arised mainly due to various socio-political reasons. He also said it was high time for the Indo-Mongoloid people to merge together and show their true historical identity for the all-round development of the race. No political barriers should affect the integrity of the Indo-Mongoloid people, he said.

In the statement Dev Mech declared the fil motive to re-unite the Mongoloid tribals together for the cause of ultimate survival in the society with a better socio-cultural historical bond. Dev Mech said the me of the organization would be Greater Indo-Mongoloi People’s Forum (GIPF) and its representatives would be highly experienced leaders and intellectuals from various Indo-Mongoloid communities like Koch, Mech, Bodo, Machari, Rabha, Modahi, Hajong and Garo.  The organization will be officially launched on October 25. Dev stated that all the tribals should unite else the sons of the soil or tribal communities would be diplomatically dethroned from their homeland very soon.

He said the motto of the organization would be socio-cultural, socio-economical, historical heritage and to protect the ethnic identity. It will not have political motives, he said. He added that GIPF would always act as the united accepted voice of the greater Indo-Mongoloid communities and it would have zero tolerance regarding any anti-Mongoloid policies.
