New president of Lakhimpur Youth Congress declared

LAKHIMPUR, July 4: Ananda Narah was declared as the president of the Lakhimpur district Youth Congress Committee by the All India Youth Congress Committee (AIYCC). Though AIYCC declared the election result of All Assam Youth Congress Committee on June 26, the name of Anada Narah was not declared as the president of the Lakhimpur District Youth Congress Committee. It was kept ‘hold on’ due to some technical reasons as reported.

On Monday, FAME (Foundation of Advance Management for Election), the supreme committee for the monitoring of the Youth Congress election, declared the name of Ananda Narah for the same through website. He won a total of 628 votes as a candidate for the designation of district president of Lakhimpur District Youth Congress Committee in the organizational election held recently, stated Gangajyoti Tayegam, the president of the media cell-cum-secretary of Lakhimpur district Congress Committee.
