New regiol committee of Ahom organization formed

MARGHERITA, September 22: Ahom Royal Youth Federation, Margherita Regiol Committee was formed at a meeting held at the Margherita Sahitya Chora Bhavan recently. More than 300 Ahom people from Jagun, Lekhapani, Ketetong, Pengree, Makum Qilla, Margherita and Ledo were present in the meeting. The meeting was presided over by Tilak Gogoi and meeting was hosted by Mash Pratim Gogoi. Tilak Gogoi in his iugural speech said that the Ahom people had contributed a lot to form the greater Assamese society.  The 21-member Margherita Regiol Committee of Ahom Royal Youth Federation was formed with Bitupon Gogoi as president and Pranjal Konwar as general secretary. Ahom Royal Youth Federation, central committee secretary general Uttam Baruah and secretary Khagen Gogoi were present in the meeting.
