New route for vehicles in city

SHILLONG, April 2: The Shillong Traffic Police has notified on Monday that on a trial basis, vehicles are being allowed to enter the new road from Little Blossom School (near Polo Towers) towards City Hut Dhaba Junction at Police Bazaar and the vise versa. The police further informed that vehicles will not be allowed to take ‘right turn’ from Pegasus Crown Hotel for proceeding towards Police Bazaar but will be allowed to take the right turn near the old High Court building. They said that this arrangement is on a trial basis. The police have requested the general public to bear with any inconvenience caused.
