New Sivasagar DC takes charge

SIVASAGAR, Feb 28: Pallav Gopal Jha on Wednesday took charge as the new Deputy Commissioner of Sivasagar district. He took over from rayan Konwar this morning. Before his new posting, Jha was serving as DC of Majuli district.  After taking charge, Jha addressed a meeting of all officials and staff of the DC office. He called upon them to serve the people with dedication. Earlier, the outgoing DC was given a formal farewell.  Konwar will now hold the charge of Deputy Commissioner in Jorhat district.
