New SP of Dima Hasao

HAFLONG, Jan 11: Dr. Dhanjay Parashuram Ghawat took over as the Superintendent of Police Dima Hasao on January 10. Ghawat replaced Dr. V. Shivaprasad Ganjala, who joined as SP in 2014. He gained popularity and respect among the people of the district due to his polite but bold action and also became successful to instill confidence in the minds of common people about the police administration in this trouble- stricken district. Dr Ghawat the new SP of Dima Hasao while talking to the media on Monday expressed his happiness to join here in Dima Hasao and assured to maintain good relation with the people of the district. Dr Ghawat, a 2010 batch IPS officer served as Baksa SP before joining in Dima Hasao.
