New Udalguri DC appointed

TANGLA, Oct 25:  Newly appointed Udalguri Deputy Commissioner Dilip Kumar Das has been accorded welcome by Udalguri District Jourlist Union on Wednesday. Dilip Kumar Das has joined as the new deputy commissioner of Udalguri district. He took charge from outgoing Udalguri DC Sadha Hojai on Tuesday. He had been working as the Joint Secretary, Revenue and Disaster Magement, Dispur prior to his present posting.

Meanwhile Sadha Hojai has been transferred as the principal secretary, Dima Hasao Autonomous Council at Haflong. A delegation of Udalguri District Jourlist Union led by its President Jayanta Kumar Das, Secretary D.Barua, welcomed the deputy commissioner at his office. While listing out his new priorities, the newly appointed Udalguri DC said that people-friendly governce would be his first priority thereby rendering first hand service to people in a scheduled time frame.
