New Water Supply Scheme Inaugurated in Batadrava

Batadrava: In a bid to provide pure drinking water to the rural masses, MLA of Batadrava, Angoorlata Deka on Saturday inaugurated the Buwalguri Adarsha Water Supply Scheme in Batadrava constituency. The project is likely to benefit the poor people residing in three villages - Buwalguri, Adarshagaon and Katahguri of Batadrava. Inaugurating the scheme at a function at Buwalguri, Angoorlata said that the scheme would immensely benefit altogether 1,000 families.

This project is a part of the government’s ‘Mission 100’ scheme. The MLA also asserted that the non-functional water supply schemes of Batadrava would be made functional very soon. Additional Deputy Commissioner Pranab Sharma, pfficials of Public Health Engineering department, Morigaon division, and around 500 local people were present on the occasion.
