Newborn baby rescued from garbage dump

GAON, March 7: With the aid of local people, gaon police rescued a newborn baby from a pile of garbage at Panigaon Santiban Road in gaon town on Saturday morning.  Sources said that people heard the cries of the baby and when they found the baby in the pile of garbage, they informed the police of Itachali police outpost. The police rescued the baby and sent the baby to gaon SBP Civil Hospital for treatment and care. According to hospital sources, the baby was in a healthy state. Police are trying to find out who abandoned the infant in the pile of garbage.
