NF Railway General Manager interacts with MPs, MLAs

Tinsukia: General Manager of NF Railway Sanjive Roy on Wednesday held a discussion with Members of Parliament falling under the jurisdiction of Tinsukia Division. The discussion was held at the conference hall of the DRM office, Tinsukia. The discussion was attended by Arunachal East MP Ninong Ering, MP Rameswar Teli, Tinsukia MLA Sanjoy Kishan.

During discussion, Rameswar Teli suggested early completion of Lekhapani-Jairampur proposed railway line, reopening of Bogapani station, repairing of Godapani bridge, revise the timings of DEMU train between Tinsukia and Dibrugarh, water logging problem in some Limited Height Subways, beautification of Ledo station, starting of Shatabdi service and Dibrugarh-Silchar Express Train from Tinsukia for the benefit of the people of the area.

Ninong Ering called for providing proper compensation to land givers for construction of a new line from Murkongselek to Pasighat so that the project may be completed within a short period of time. This was stated in a press release.
