NFRSA take control in Nuruddin fil

GUWAHATI, May 17: NFRSA made good progress in the fil of the Nuruddin Senior Inter District Cricket tourment (elite group) here today. After completing first innings 301, the side pushed Guwahati on the back foot in their first innings. Guwahati scored 4-84 in their first innings at stumps on day II. Four top order batsmen Rishav Das (10), Rahul Hazarika (02), Sunzow Brahma (11) and Avijit Singha Roy (22) retuned without contributing too much scores on the board. Last recognized pair Gokul Sarma (13no) and Tarzinder Singh (19no) are on the wicket and much of Guwahati’s success are now depend on these two Ranji cricketers. Earlier NFRSA, started from their overnight score 163-2, were bowled out 301 in their first innings. Wicketkeeper batsmen Kul Saikia (85, 141B, 4x6, 6x4) made the highest individual score for NFRSA while Abir Chakraborty (6/112) was the most successful bowler for Guwahati.
