NFRSA win Guwahati Challenge title

GUWAHATI, Feb 28: NFRSA Academy lifted Servo Guwahati Challenge title defeating Mahara club by 26 runs in the fil held at the Judges ground here today. Invited to bat,  NFRSA Academy bowled out 164 in 33 overs. Prasanta Barua (4-27) was the best performer with the ball. Later a similar performance from Sarupam Purkayastha (4-24) helped NFRSA academy to bowl out Mahara 138 runs and won the tie by a margin of 26 runs.Neeraj Tiwary of NFRSA, who scored 43 runs and also picked up two wickets for 26 runs, adjudged man of the fil award.  

Rahul Hazarika of City Cricket club selected as the player of the tourment. The other individual award winners are: Best batsman- Ranjit Sarma (Sijubari), Best Bowler-Raju Master (Sijubari), Best Fielder-Rohan Dutta (Gauhati Town club), Best Wicket Keeper-Vinod Sarma (River Rine), Most promising player-Sagar Kumar Sah (Brahmaputa Boys) and Most Disciplined team-ASEBSC.
