NGOs Visited 'Belabhoomi' Old Age Home at Karimganj

Silchar: A representative team of Barak Upatyaka Krira Sangbadik Sangstha (BUKSS) which is the Barak Valley Sports Journalists’ Association met with the inmates of an old age home ‘Belabhoomi’ located at Azad Sagar road in Karimganj district recently. They shared some hearty moments with the inmates. An NGO SEBA is running the old age home. All the 8 inmates of the old age home interacted with the members of BUKSS. Amitabh Choudhury, former teacher, football player, cricket player and cultural activist grew nostalgic upon meeting with the members of BUKSS which is an organization of sport journalists of Barak Valley.

The inmates, Amitabh Choudhury, Manik Gupta Subol Bhattacharjee among others were very happy to meet the members of BUKSS which comprise Zakir Hussain, Taz Uddin, among others. The director of the old age home, Aparna Deb, was also present.
