NHM to host convention of ASHA workers in Dibrugarh

Dibrugarh, Dec 25: The first convention of ASHA Karmis, will be held on December 31 at District Library Auditorium here under the aegis of Dibrugarh Health Committee and tiol Health Mission. The event to be iugurated by the Deputy Commissioner, M.S.Manivann, would be attended by Additiol Commissioner, Anjabh Chaliha, Joint Director (Incharge) of Health Department, Dr. Paban Swarkar and other guests.  The award for best Asha Karmi would also be given away at the convention, which would be followed by performance of cultural programs by the Asha Karmis. The District Programme Coorditor of tiol Health Mission, Manisha Buragohain, Representatives of State Health Department and D.D. of Health Mission M Chiranjeev Borgohain, will deliver their speeches on the role of Asha Karmis as Health workers at the convention.
