Nine HSLC examinees expelled in Dhemaji

Dhemaji, Feb 22: Nine HSLC examines along with one invigilator were expelled from the examition hall in Dhemaji district. On the other hand, More than 500 students were found absent from appearing the examition.

HSLC fil examition started from February 17. There are 31 examition centers in Dhemaji district and 13,858 students were supposed to appear the examition but 540 students were found absent.

In Jorkata Center (Center code B-17-230) five students along with an invigilator has been expelled from the examition hall. It was alleged that the invigilator helped the students for adopting unfair means.

Similarly one student each from Rupth Brahma High School centre (code no B-17-238) and Laimekuri Center (code B-17-231) and two students from Bishnupur Tekjuri Center (code B-17-217) were expelled from the examition halls. Higher Secondary fil examition was also started from February 20.

A total of 8416 students are appearing for the examition of which 6408 students are from Arts stream, 1639 students from Science stream and 369 students from Commerce stream. There are 46 examition centres in the district. It was alleged that in some centers examinees faced problems due to insufficient power supply. In Gogamukh, CCTV cameras were not properly installed. The direction of the camera is fitted towards the road side instead of examition center.
