Nine temporary huts in Tengapani and Diyun reserve forest demolished

ITAGAR, June 23: The forest officials led by Divisiol Forest Officer of msai Forest Division R Riba with help of district administrations and police on Wednesday demolished 9 more temporary huts at Kathalbari falling under Tengapani Rserve Forest and Diyun Reserve Forest. Out of the seven huts demolished five belonged to Moran community and two belonged to Chakma community.  The encroachers were asked to vacate the area immediately failing which stern action would be initiated, an official release informed here today. Similar drive was conducted on June 18 under the provision of Aruchal Pradesh (Ejectment of uuthorized person from Reserved Forest) Rule 2013.
