No entry for BJP-BPF leaders into Adivasi areas

Gossaigoan: Various Adivasi organizations jointly organized a press meet at Matiajuri village of Gossaigaon subdivision in Kokrajhar district on Monday. During the press meet, the Adivasi leaders stated that the BJP-BPF government was playing with the sentiments of the community by depriving the community of ST status.

They further stated that the government was trying to make it a vote-bank issue in the upcoming Lok Sabha election. They declared that Adivasi organizations like All Adivasi Cobra Militant Army (AACMA), Santhali Tiger Force (STF), All Adivasi Students’ Association of Assam (AASAA) and Adivasi Seva Samiti had jointly decided to boycott BJP and BPF leaders and they would not be allowed entry into Adivasi-populated areas.
