No harassment of any AAP leader, says Goa CM

Paji, June 23: Goa Chief Minister Laxmikant Parsekar on Thursday refuted the AAP’s allegation of harassment, and claimed that the party attracted action in each of the state’s sub-districts for littering during Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s meeting last month. The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) had accused the BJP-led government of harassment, raising the issue of a notice issued to its tiol Executive member Dinesh Vaghela over illegal business establishments in a residential complex in Porvorim, and an FIR against a Goa Civil Service bureaucrat Elvis Gomes who was allegedly sympathetic to the party. Parsekar said that the government did not indulge in political vendetta and a notice to Vaghela could have been issued as part of routine official duty. “The officers are doing their respective jobs. I have only read in the newspapers that a notice was sent.  (IANS)
