Noida man misleads police with false information on wife's rape and murder, gets arrested

Noida: Noida police on Wednesday arrested a man for filing false complaints and for misleading police with false information. In a shameful move that any husband can ever take, this Noida based man calls up police in the early morning on Wednesday and claims that his wife has been raped and killed. However, when the police arrived at the said address they could find that nothing such has happened with the man and his wife.

The man, 30-year-old Naresh Singh is a resident of Ilahaabas village under Phase 2 police station limits. On the arrival of the cops at Naresh Singh’s place, it could be seen that he was lying to the police and nothing has happened to his wife as was claimed by him before.

A police officer said, “Around 5 am today, he made a call at the emergency 100 number of the police and claimed that his wife has been raped and killed. A police team immediately reached his home in the village and found that everything was fine there. His wife too was there and she was alright.”

The accused has been booked on charges of engaging in a conspiracy under Indian Penal Code sections 107 (engaging in a conspiracy), 116 (Abetment of offence punishable with imprisonment — if offence be not committed), and section 151 of the Criminal Procedure Code.

At a time when the police are trying its best to deliver timely and tight security to the citizens of the nations, such low-grade pranks misleading the cops make things even tough for them. In this instance of the Noida man giving away falls information to the cops and that is too at such an early hour in the morning is not only disturbing the cops in their duty but is also reflecting the psychological problem of the accused. there should be exemplary punishments for such fake news providers so that others do not dare to waste the valuable time of the police department in the future.
