North America to Host 2026 FIFA World Cup

FIFA voters have chosen North America as the host for 2026 FIFA World Cup after 1994, based on the financial and logistical assurance of a USA-led bid that won 134 votes as compared with Morocco’s 65 votes.   USA has proposed staging 60 games out of 80, in 2026, when 16 teams will be added to the finale, sparing both Mexico & Canada with 10 fixtures, each.
