North East Graduate Congress Participants Felicitated in Nagaon

NAGAON: University of Science and Technology, Meghalaya (USTM) accorded Nowgong College as the most active college and also conferred the best graduate award to Ashish Saikia, a student of Degree XI semester of the college, in the recent North East Graduate Congress. According to sources, USTM also offered free master degree course to Ashish Saikia.

During the mega events of the North East Graduate Congress held in USTM, Pranjit Boruah and Dipankar Roy, students of Nowgong College, broke the earlier record in weight lifting and at the same time, Samiran Bora and Barnali Sarma of the college also won the best debater award. The Principal of Nowgong College, Dr Sarat Borkotoki on Monday, at a special function held at the college premises, felicitated the group leader and all participants of the event.
