North East Tennis Concludes In Guwahati

GUWAHATI: Jiggashman Hazarika bagged double crown in the Ranjit Dutta North East Tennis Championship which concluded at the RG Baruah Sports complex here on Wednesday. All the finals of the competition were held at the same venue on Wednesday. Jiggashman won in the U-14 and U-18 boys categories.

Final results: Boys U-10: Ritik Rout beat Parthiv Kalita 5-3, 5-3. Boys U-12 years: Aryan Bora bt Aayan Sarma 6-3, 6-1. Boys U-14 years: Jiggashman Hazarika bt Harshad Bora 6-2, 6-3. Girls U-14: Namrata Das bt Nayanika Deka 6-1, 6-4.Girls U-18: Ishika Chakma bt Justina Borgohaini 6-4, 4-6, 10-5.Boys U-18: Jiggashman Hazarika bt Harshad Bora 2-1. Mixed Doubles: Sudhanta Mohanty and Naziya Ahmed bt Justina Borgohain and Jeet Dutta 9-3.
