Noted businessman passes away

Rangia, January 12: Paresh Pathak, famous businessman of Rangia, passed away on Monday night after prolonged illness. He was 81. Pathak was a resident of Rangia town ward no.5. He established linkage in terms of business between undivided Kamrup and Darrang districts. He leaves behind three sons and three daughters. Ghashyam Kalita, MLA, and Anta Deka, former MLA of Rangia, have condoled the demise of Pathak. All shops and business establishments remained close as a mark of respect to the departed soul.
