Noted theatre personality Sukracharya Rabha no more

GOALPARA, June 9: Noted drama director and artiste Sukracharya Rabha is no more. The young recipient of Ustad Bismillah Khan award diedon Friday night following a head injury after he fell in the bathroom at his Rampur village residence about 15 km from here. He was rushed to Solace Hospital in Goalpara but the doctors declared him brought dead.

Sukracharya Rabha was the disciple of legendary Manipuri drama icon H.Kanhailal and founder of Badungduppa Kala Kendra in his village Rampur where every year he arranged a series of world class invited plays titled 'Under the Sal Tree'.
