Now, RJD leader shot dead in Bihar

Pat, Feb 16: A leader of the ruling Rashtriya Jata Dal was shot dead on Tuesday by unidentified crimils in Samastipur in Bihar, police said. According to police officials, crimils used an AK-47 assault rifle in the crime. A case was registered against four accused. Police later arrested two people in the case.
The supporters of RJD leader Virendra Yadav indulged in violent protests and blocked roads and shouted slogans against the district police in Samastipur after the killing. Earlier, Lok Janshakti Party leader Brijthi Singh was shot dead in Pat and Bharatiya Jata Party’s state vice president Viseshwar Ojha was fatally shot in Bhojpur district. (IANS)
