NRC awareness camp held

Silchar, June 9: An awareness camp on NRC was organized by the VDPs of Katigorah in Katigorah PS recently. The camp was attended by leading citizens, social activists, VDP president and secretaries. Subhranshu Shekhar Bhattacharjee, president of Keshab Smarak Sanskriti Surabhi, Silchar, urged people to keep calm and patience till the second draft of the NRC is published. He assured that every genuine citizen will get an opportunity to get his or her name enrolled in the NRC. The deputy advisor of the village defence organization was also present in the meeting.
