NRC official suspended

Guwahati, April 6: A circle officer in Bongaigaon district, Mitali Lahkar, who was involved in the NRC update exercise, was suspended on Friday for negligence of duty while performing family tree verification duty. She was suspended on the basis of complaints against her negligence of duty.
