NRL wins IMC RBNQ Performance Excellence Trophy 2014

Mumbai, March 24: NRL has been honoured with the Performance Excellence Trophy 2014 in Manufacturing category at the prestigious IMC Ramkrish Bajaj tiol Quality Awards (RBNQA). The trophy was handed over by Chess grandmaster and five times World Chess Champion Viswathan And to the NRL team led by MD P Padmabhan and Sr. GM(TS) D. Ghosh at a function held in Mumbai recently which was largely attended by lumiries and distinguished guests from various industry houses across the country.

NRL’s holding company Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) bagged the IMC Ramkrish Bajaj tiol Quality Award (RBNQA) in the Manufacturing category, the first Public Sector Company to have achieved this feat.

The IMC Ramkrish Bajaj tiol Quality Award (RBNQA) is the most respected tiol Quality award in the country. The IMC RBNQA criteria provides a proven framework along with best practices for achieving world-class quality. The selection follows a rigorous process of training and evaluation and the criteria so adopted by companies to fulfill the award requirements has helped them grow from strength to strength.
