NSLA area commander bbed

Guwahati, April 10: Based on information from its own source, the army and police launched an operation in the Gom area in Kokrajhar district. During the operation, the security forces apprehended one hardcore terrorist Lakhiram Kisku alias Surya alias Mathiyas, the NSLA area commander of Gossaigaon area. The terrorist is suspected to be involved in stealing of weapons from Sapkata Police Station and in killing of Siblal Murmu, the then commander-in-chief of the ceasefire group Santhal Tiger Force (STF) in 2013. One factory made 7.62 mm pistol, few ammunition and other war like stores were recovered from the terrorist.
