NSS organizes awareness camp

Dibrugarh, July 4: The members of National Service Scheme (NSS), under the leadership of Dibrugarh University’s social worker, Neelotpal Gogoi, carried out individual meeting and awareness camp on Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, Environmental Awareness, Educational and Health Awareness, and on proper implementation of the various schemes and policies of the government, in Chaulkhowa Janajati Vidyalaya, Jamira Gandhiji Vidyamandir and Dainijan Primary School.

The awareness sessions were also used as a platform to discourage the people from using plastic products, especially plastic bags. Instead, they were urged to use paper bags. This initiative of the members of NSS was lauded by different groups of villagers, as well as several teachers of the aforementioned schools. They, at the same time, also expressed hope for similar meetings in the ensuing days.
