NTPC distributes solar lanterns and computers

KOKRAJHAR, Feb 23:Under the CSR scheme, KK Sharma, Director (Operations), Arvind Kumar, RED(ER-II) and UtpalChakrabarti, GGM,on Thursday distributed solar lanterns to the students of the villages in ash pipeline corridor and ash dyke area of the project. Altogether 200 solar lanterns were distributed today. Apart from these, 10 desktop computers and a printer to ITI Salakati and eightdesktop computers to Bodoland University were also provided today. Speaking on the occasion, KK Sharma, Director (Operations), said that such initiatives would help the students in their education and asked them to focus on their studies.
