OBITUARY

Senior teacher Tamizuddin Ahmed (93) left for heavenly abode on Sunday while his wife Hamida Khatun (85) breathed her last early morning on Monday at their residence in Kalaigaon. They both died of old-age ailments.

Tamizuddin Ahmed was associated with various organizations of the area. He started working as a teacher in Habibhanga LP School under Kalaigaon revenue circle and he retired in 1985 from Barbagan LP School. He was conferred the best teacher award by the government.

His wife Hamida Khatun was also associated with various religious institutions of Kalaigaon. The couple leaves behind three sons and four daughters. Asomiya Juva Mancha, Kalaigaon AASU, Pragatishil Unyan Parishad, Kalaigaon AAMSU, Kalaigaon Press Club and Kalaigaon Press Guild have expressed deep condolences at the death of Tamizuddin Ahmed and Hamida Khatun.
