Office building of Mawshynrut SDO (Civil) inaugurated

Shillong, May 8: The temporary Office building of the SDO (Civil), Mawshynrut sub-division was formally inaugurated today by the local MLA and Chairman of Meghalaya State Housing Board, Gigur Myrthong in the presence of the local MDC M Mawsor and in-charge SDO (Civil) KL Nongbri at Banglapluh.

Addressing the gathering as the chief guest, Gigur Myrthong stressed on the need to develop the sub-division which is still backward in comparison with the other parts of the State. He urged upon the Sordars and Headmen to co-operate with the sub-divisional administration in order to ensure that the all round development is brought in the sub-division. He assured the gathering that he will pursue with the Government on matters which need immediate attention and for setting up a full-fledge sub-division wherein all Government departments are in place.
