Officers asked to cooperate with public

From a Correspondent

Donkamokam, April 4: Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council (KAAC) CEM Tuliram Ronghang today held an officers’ meet at Hamren Circuit House.

“Hamren district and Hamren town are neglected by department officers as only few attend office.  I have stressed many times that officers have to dedicate themselves for the greater interest of the Hills tribes, but if they ignore this, action will be taken,” said Ronghang. “There will be change in the system if the officers cooperate with the public,” he added.

EM Rupsing Teron asked officers to ensure patta allotment of their offices to save government land from encroachers.

In the meet, Manoranjon Gogoi, Joint Secretary KAAC, both Deputy Secretaries Harsing Teron and Dilip Teron were also present.
