Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited Organizes Annual SC/ST Component Plan Programme

SIVASAGAR: ONGC Assam Asset, in association with All India SC/ST Employees’ Welfare Association (AISCSTEWA), ONGC Assam Asset organized the Annual SC/ST Component Plan programme 2017-18 in Sivasagar recently, augmenting its endeavour to serve the underprivileged and fostering inclusive growth in the society.

As part of the programme, an exhibition-cum-sale by beneficiaries from various SHGs, trained under various skill development and women empowerment programmes conducted under the Annual Component Plan, was organized. Besides, various materials and certificates were distributed among a large number of beneficiaries.

Certificates among 100 women beneficiaries who successfully completed cutting and tailoring programme were handed over on the occasion. A documentary on the life and mission of Babasaheb Dr BR Ambedkar was also shown.

Addressing the gathering, S D Maske, Executive Director, ONGC, highly appreciated the efforts of AISCSTEWA led by PR Mili, president of CWC, AISCSTEWA, ONGC, for carrying out various socio-economic projects for the uplift of the underprivileged. He thanked all the beneficiaries and participants for turning up in large numbers, encouraging ONGC to successfully organize the programme.
