Oil India FC lift Bodoland Gallants Gold Cup trophy

TANGLA,Sep 24: Oil India Football Club, Duliajan defeated RBI Mumbai 4-1 to lift the champions trophy of the 22nd Bodoland Gallants Gold Cup Invitation Prize-money Football Championship, organised by the All Bodo Students' Union Dimakuchi unit and Dimakuchi Sports Association at Dimakuchi stadium of Udalguri today. 

Oil India FC opened the account through Sirandeep Moran in the 15th minute followed by Jayanta Basumatari who scored a goal in 26th minute and in  Mintu Boro found the back of the net in 43th minute. Boro completed his brace with another goal in the 35th minute of first half. In the second half bin Rabha scored a goal in 22th  minute.The lone goal for R.B.I Mumbai was scored by Pankaj Negi in the 26th minute of second half.

Rahul Das of Oil India FC was adjudged the Best Player of the fil receiving Rs 5000.The winning team received Rs 50,000, along with the champions' trophy while the runners-up got Rs 30,000.

The fil match was attended by Rajya Sabha MP Biswajit Daimari, Dy. Speaker BTC Nerswn Boro ,Vice-President ABSU Romeo P. rzary,Member of Parliament of Royal Bhutan Kingdom Jigme Wangchuk and Janyang Gyetkha among host of dignitaries.
