Oil India Limited (OIL) Holds Workshop on RTI (Right to Information)

GUWAHATI: Oil India Limited (OIL) organized a one-day workshop on the best practices on RTI (Right to Information) Act 2005 on Monday at Guwahati for its Officers. The Workshop was inaugurated by HS Das (Retired lAS) Chief Information Commissioner, State of Assam, in the presence of Pranjit Deka, Resident Chief Executive, OIL Samir Kumar Das, Chief General Manager, Pipeline Headquarters, Guwahati and Prasanta Borkakoti, Chief General Manager & CPIO of the company.

The workshop focused on key provisions of the Act, and nark judgments and best practices to be adopted to facilitate the citizen seeking information in the Act. Samudra Gupta Kashyap and SN Rahman, the eminent speaker conducted the technical session of the workshop. More than 40(Forty) Executives, from different spheres of Oil India Limited, had participated in the workshop, a press release stated.
