On the Way to Delhi released

LAKHIMPUR; June 16: ‘On the Way to Delhi’, a collection of articles, authored by Chandra Nath Das was released in a programme held in befitting manner at North Lakhimpur Press Club(NLPC) on Friday.

The programme held on this occasion was chaired by Surjya Bhuyan, a renowned theatre director of the State.

Dr. Biman Chandra Chetia, Principal of North Lakhimpur College (Autonomous), released the book in the programme which was anchored by Plabita Das.

Releasing the book, he delivered an informative lecture highlighting the importance of the revolution of print media in contemporary society. Retired principal of Garehaga Bahpati HS School Tileswar Borah, Principal of North lakhimpur Girls’ HS School Anil Saikia, Principal of KBS College Sailen Baruah, NLPC Secretary Kumud Baruah also spoke on the occasion.

Author of the book, Chandra Nath Das highlighted the various aspects of his penned articles, which is his second publication. His maiden book ‘Pratham Prayash’ is a collection of articles in vernacular language.
