One arrested for sharing PM's derogatory photo

LAKHIMPUR, April 12: Lakhimpur Police arrested one Rajiv Doley (34), a contractor by profession, for sharing a derogatory photo of Prime Minister rendra Modi. Rajiv Doley, son of Asomoni Doley, resident of Ward No. 14 of North Lakhimpur town recently shared the photo with two persons -Pulin Das of Panigaon and Jonky Doley of Saboti through WhatsApp. Both of them showed the photo to Afiluddin Ahemed, an advocate of the district, who was shocked on seeing it. The advocate lodged an FIR against Rajiv Doley at North Lakhimpur Police Station. Registering a case, North Lakhimpur Police arrested Rajiv Doley and sent him to jail. He, however, did not disclose from where he got the photograph.
