One Dead in A Road Mishap in Baksa District of Assam

GORESWAR: Satyasaran Basumatary (42) of Daboukhila village under Goreswar police in Baksa district died on the spot at Gandhichowk near Maharipara in a road mishap on Wednesday night. His son, Mwkthang Basumatary was seriously injured and taken to a hospital in Guwahati immediately. Sources said that Satyasaran Basumatary was driving an auto van when a truck coming from the opposite direction at a high speed hit the van. Satyasaran died on the spot in the Guwahati-Goreswar-Bangalipara road and his son, who was with him in the auto van, was seriously injured.
