One dead in accident

KALAIGAON, May 4: In a road mishap, Abhisek Das (22) of Gusaigaon, died at around 9.30 am on Monday, about one km from Kalaigaon Police Station. One of his friends Abhijit Sarma was seriously injured. The accident took place when they were travelling in their Pulsar bike (AS 13 B 8453). According to local people, Das had come to his relative’s house in Kalaigaon. Das and his friend were on their way to their tive village when their bike hit a tempo (AS 27 C 1953) at Gobindapur near Kalaigaon town and Das died on the spot while Sarma was injured critically.
