DEMOW, April 2: A road accident took place near Demow in Sepon under Moran Police Station in front of Sepon College on the NH-37 road on Sunday where one person died and two persons were seriously injured. According to sources, a dumper (AS 04 AC 4498) which was coming from Dibrugarh and heading towards Sivasagar at a high speed, collided against a truck (DL 1 GC 5193) which was coming from Sivasagar and heading towards Dibrugarh. In the accident, the handyman of the dumper died on the spot and two persons who were in the truck were seriously injured. Though the local people immediately took the two injured persons to Moran Hospital, due to their serious condition both were sent to Dibrugarh for better treatment.
