One dies in road mishap in Sivasagar

JOYSAGAR: One Babu Gogoi (35), a truck handyman, died following a road mishap on Friday. Sources informed that the handyman suddenly fell from the running truck and thereafter breathed his last on the spot.

Meanwhile, in another incident, the Sivasagar Police with the help of the Demow Police arrested two thieves from the Athabari Tea Estate area of Sivasagar on Thursday night. The thieves have been identified as Babul Guwala (22) and Sunu Pandav (21) of Rajabari village of Sivasagar. Police sources informed that the thieves were involved in many burglaries that have taken place in recent times in Sivasagar town.
