One Dies of Drowning in Dikhow River, Sivasagar on Saturday

JOYSAGAR: Another person died of drowning in Dikhow river on Saturday. As per reports, one Jeams Awo (51) of Chantak gaon under Gelakey PS suddenly drowned in the Dikhow river and died. SDRF jawans recovered his body and Gelakey Police sent it for post mortem to Joysagar Civil Hospital. With this, the death toll due to flood in Sivasagar district has gone up to four, said district administration sources.
