One held in teeger missing case

DULIAJAN, Jan 7: Abhish Tanti (22), son of Krishlal Tanti, resident of Madhutig Tea-estate under Duliajan police station has been sent to Dibrugarh Jail by Duliajan police on Thursday morning regarding involvement in absconding a teeger on December 27, 2015. According to police sources, a teeger aged about 15 years, daughter of Tu Rajak, resident of Tipling Tea-Estate under Duliajan police station was missing since December 27, 2015. An FIR was lodged in Duliajan police station on December 28.  Duliajan police arrested Abhish with the teeger on Thursday from the residence of Mali Tanti, Pawai tun line under Duliajan police station. Abhish is allegedly a married person. Duliajan Police under section of IPC 366A has sent him to Dibrugarh jail.
