One killed in road accident at Laluk

LAKHIMPUR, Jan 10: A man was killed and another severely injured in a road accident at Laluk Kasojuli on Saturday. According to sources, Sanjay Dutta (25) and Bimal Das (29) were coming back from a picnic in a Scooty bearing registration no. AS 07 G 4872 when due to high speed, the two-wheeler went out of control. As a consequence the two persons were seriously injured. They were shifted to the North Lakhimpur Civil Hospital with the help of the local people but Sanjay Dutta died immediately after admission at the hospital. On the other hand, Bimal Das who was severely injured, has been referred to Guwahati for better medical facilities.
