One killed in road mishap

JOYSAGAR, Feb 5: A P and T department employee died in a road mishap early on Sunday morning. He was identified as Subhsh Das (34).

Das was travelling in his motor cycle when a dumper (AS-04 AC-3162) knocked him at NH-37 near Ghilaguri area under Sivasagar PS. Later, police along with the DC of  Sivasagar rushed to the spot and discussed with local people who had blocked the NH-37 for about three hours to protest against this road accident. Das was a co-publisher of a local news paper Posekar Sambad|.

He leaves behind his mother, wife and two sisters.
