One killed in road mishap - 18 Apr, 2018

Tamulpur, April 17: One person died in a road mishap on Tuesday morning at Bheradanga under Nagrijuli police outpost in the district of Baksa. The deceased person was identified as Purna Sutradhar (36) of village No-2 Pipleni under Tamulpur subdivision. Purna came to Nagrijuli market with his friend in a motorcycle. While Purna was returning home and had reached Bheradanga, suddenly two cows hit the motorcycle. As a result, Purna fell from the motorcycle and he was seriously injured. Local people took him to Khatarbari state dispensary and later on he was referred to Tamulpur PHC. Doctor of Tamulpur PHC declared him death. Nagrijuli police recovered the body and arranged to send the body for post-mortem.
